Books, Babies, Messy Meals & More: the Glamorous Life of Boo

On Path & Instagram, I often feel I should resist the glutton of pictures (often similar but each slightly different and awesome in its own way...) of our lovely little Boo, but here I reject any such restraint -- here's a crazy number of photos of this crazy adorable girl!!

Scarlet & "her baby" are almost unbearably cute... she gives her baby hugs, kisses, and "pats" (not to be confused with "violent smacks")

... she rocks her baby and puts her baby to bed - which closely resembles tackling. :)

You can see the sass in those eyes... <3

A Meager Peek at the Holidays~

The holidays are always an amazing blur of incredible people, big love, and late nights.  Somehow I managed to capture so little of all these visits, but I thought I'd "jot" down a little nutshell:

One.

This girl.  With this face. That smile. Those eyes, and the sparkling sassy personality behind them.  This girl... has been making my world brighter for an entire year already.  Can you believe that?  

I've been unable to write this post for awhile now - despite the plentitude of incredible pictures to share - because I can't figure out what I can possibly pluck out on a computer keyboard to capture the enormity happening in my heart.  I just love this girl so thoroughly and completely.  My baby is one!

Before anyone saw it coming, she reached down and popped one little cupcake into her mouth - it was both impressive & hilarious!

So, for the last six months, since Scarlet has been eating solids, I've been convinced she just doesn't have a sweet tooth... mostly because she rejected bananas and other sweet fruits and consistently opted for the veggies.  Well, I was wrong.
